Our beginnings seem simple enough...third generation of breeder and exhibitor of AKC registered dogs. It almost was not so much a choice to raise and show dogs, but more a choice of which breed to raise and show. Having a father who, as an AKC professional handler, had the first BIS winning Shih Tzu after the breed was newly entered into regular AKC classes. My mother introduced me to Yorkshire Terriers and they have been a rewarding journey. Our dogs are family and are raised in our home. You will find no kennel here. The bloodlines that are used in our breeding program have come from a commitment to improving the breed. It is my goal to advance this wonderful breed and it's attributes by striving to work with the best lines and the best people in the breed. By developing trust with other breeders around the world our dogs have acquired a strong background to ensure the future of our program. The dogs undergo careful screening to ensure the health and soundness of future generations. Our dogs have won at all levels in conformation classes to assure the quality and direction of our breeding program, but our focus is to produce sensible, balanced, healthy dogs that are well suited as companions. To that end, we raise our dogs and puppies in our home with love, exercise, excellent nutrition and other dogs. Any dog we offer for sale is given a full health check and a five year health guarantee. We strongly encourage a visit to our home in Roanoke, Virginia. Through my friendships with fellow exhibitors and breeders around the world this breed has given many rewards. My wish is that the reward of mutual friendship and ownership is passed on in the offspring we offer. Breeding is a difficult undertaking. It takes a lot of dedication and foresight. It is a slow process to select individuals, raise the, show them and study their weaknesses and strengths and how it will apply to a program of breed improvement. It is not for the faint of heart and as such we do not offer breeding or show individuals unless by recommendation.
